Cards Advertising Christmas Services
Printed cards advertising our Christmas services, are available in the gathering area. Please give these to friends, family and neighbours so they can share the promise of Christmas too.

Make St Mary’s Gleam for Christmas
The Christmas cleaning of St Mary’s is on Wednesday 23 December at 9.30 am. Please bring cleaning materials with you and remember “the more the merrier”!
Advent Displays
Thank you to everyone who have contributed to the Advent displays. A special thanks to Totally Diamond Girls who put together today’s display.
Op Shop Closes
Following the decision of the Parish to sell the St Philips site, the Op Shop team has decided to close down the Op Shop this month, and to look to make a contribution to other ministries in the Parish. The stock will be offered firstly to the Karori Community Op Shop. Thank you to the team for their many years of faithful ministry through the Op Shop, and wish them well with their new ministries.
25th Anniversary of Ordination
John will be celebrating 25 years of ordination on 16 December 2009. You are welcome to join in a short Eucharist service at 5.30 pm to commemorate this time.
No Appointment Required
The last open office with John this the year is Tuesday 15 December.
Christmas Carollers Wanted!!
Do you want to bring some joy to the people in Wellington Hospital this Christmas? Join others to walk around the wards, A&E, ICU etc singing Christmas carols on Christmas Eve. Meet in the foyer of the new hospital at 7pm. All ages and singing abilities welcome! It takes about an hour, refreshments served afterwards. For information contact Chris 4762235
Christmas Baking Outreach
We are again sharing the spirit of giving by delivering home baked Christmas goodies to people in our community. Please bring the baking to the Parish Office by 12 noon, Thursday 17 December. We need a team of people to pack and distribute the trays of Christmas ‘goodies’. Packing will be from 1.00 onwards.
City Mission Giving
Food for City Mission last week was $127.00. Thank you.
Stamps from your Christmas mail.
Please save your stamps for Anglican Missions. Place them in the box at the back of the church. Leave plenty of paper around the stamps when tearing from the envelope as the stamps are sold on paper. Stamps from any country are welcome throughout the year.
Part-time Work
Are you honest, reliable and have a sense of humour? Can you assist an elderly woman in Kelburn with meals, running errands and provide companionship? Would suit job share - mature student or retired local lady. Friday—Monday 14 hours per week, starting mid January. Must have full drivers licence, car provided. Office Christmas Closure
The Parish Office will close Friday, 18 December and re-open Monday, 11 January. This dates differ from those advertised in Newslink.
