Vive - it's about life
Vive is the youth and young adults crew of Karori Anglican Churches. Our passion is to pursue the type of life that God made us for. We believe that this sort of life ought to be exciting, dynamic and fulfilling. This life pursuit draws us together in community, it rejects mediocrity and small thinking and believes that love can change the world.
We have various different gatherings throughout the week:
SUNDAY | CHURCH
7.00 PM AT ST MARY'S
Join us for church Vive style.. A typical service will include worship (where we celebrate and engage with God, primarily through singing), teaching (we try to be engaging, interesting and relevant), opportunity for prayer (because we need God) and usually a coffee break somewhere in the middle. We're usually done by 8.30 pm. All welcome.
MONDAY | YOUNG ADULTS
7.30 PM AT 8 FANCOURT STREET
A group especially for the young adults. Where we investigate together through discussion and sharing what it means to be a follower of Jesus and a young adult. Great fun, many laughs and a great crew. Usually done by 9.00 pm.
TUESDAY MORNING | YOUNG ADULTS - MALE
7.30 AM AT CITY LIBRARY
A group of young men meet at the city library every tuesday for a bible study and prayer growing togeather and digging deeper in Gods word. OH and of course there is coffee and other beverages
FRIDAY | COLLEGE AGE
7.00 PM AT 170 KARORI ROAD
A fun night for the college age crew with games, activities, quizzes, bible study, discussion and plenty of time to hang and enjoy each other's company. Coordinated by a great team of young leaders, you never quite know what you're gonna get! We plan to be finished by 9.00pm.
