News for Sunday 30 October 2016

Diocesan Hui
The Diocesan Hui (Our Family Reunion!) is on Parihaka Day, 5 November 2016, from 10 am to mid-afternoon.  Together we will celebrate, worship, tell stories, and cross-pollinate.  We’ll explore the three 2017 Diocesan themes:  Our Transforming God/Discipleship, Reducing Carbon Emissions/Climate Change, and Child Poverty.

There will also be a screening of the film Taterakihi, which tells the story of Parihaka.  ALL are invited to the Wellington Cathedral for our annual family-friendly Hui.

SMASH Cricket Club
We are really pleased to be starting up the SMASH Summer Cricket again.  Our team are lively, well supported and the games are a huge highlight each week.  BUT we need equipment!  If you have equipment spare to donate—bats, pads, balls, stumps, it will be gratefully received.  Contact Tabatha 476 2747

Infoodle Roster Training
We’re holding two training sessions on using your rosters on Infoodle:  13 November after the 10.30 service  and 19 November at 11 am.  We will meet in the church so we can use the big screens.  All people who are on rosters and need to use Infoodle are invited to attend.
