Cursillo Weekends

Cursillo is a movement of the Church, with its own method that helps Christians learn and live what is fundamental to being a Christian. And having done that, to help these same Christians discover and live out a personal vocation.

The three day weekends are an opportunity to live for a short time in Christian community, distancing yourself from the pressures of the outside world.

Tower Strengthening Work

Wellington City Council has approved the building consent for strengthening work on St Mary’s Tower and our contractor has given us a start date of
7 June.  It is intended, and has been assessed as safe, to keep using the rest of St Mary’s over the four weeks the work takes.  Between now and the start date we will be working with the groups that use St Mary’s to confirm how we can clear the area needed and how they can keep using St Mary’s as work proceeds.

Thank you for your ongoing support of this important strengthening work.
