Support Eva
Our family member Elizabeth Brittain’s great niece Eva has been suffering for some years now with cancer.  She is just 18 but has had to endure much.  We are taking an offering to help cover the costs of further treatment.  Envelopes are available today, or drop it in to the office this week.  Please keep Eva and her family in your prayers.

Opportunities to Help
There are many different people who serve our church in so many different ways behind the scenes.  We are looking for two more spots to be filled.  One person to change the altar hangings as the church calendar changes.  Another person to oversee the gathering area kitchen.  You will need tact, the ability to organise, willingness to clean and you will get the last word on how the space runs!  Contact Zoё for more information.

The Forgiveness Workshop
Forgiveness, when it is properly understood and applied, helps to heal people’s wounds and positively changes our relationships and lives.  The workshop will be run by Dr Phil Halstead who created the Forgiveness Matters Course.  Phil is a lecturer at Carey Baptist College and heads up the pastoral care at St Augustine’s Anglican church.  Saturday 12 August, 2—5:15 pm.  For information contact Zoë.

Parish Dinner
Our Parish dinner is 26 August at 6.00pm. There will be tables and games for children.  Sign up on the clipboard at church today or RVSP to Zoё in the office.

Intermediate Camp
