Family Fish n Chip Night
Friday 18 May - 5:30—7 pm
Come along to KAC and join the church family for a Fry-day night of fun.  Text your order to Kate 021 124 5471 by 17 May.  Fish, chips and hot dogs orders only please.  Feel free to invite friends to join us.  BYO wine or beer to share, pay for your food by Koha on the night or through online banking.  Some of us have tickets to the rugby afterwards—contact Ian Cook to join!

Rev John’s Installation
John’s Installation will be on the 20 May at 2 pm at Wellesley college Eastbourne  It would be great for as many as possible to attend this service to support him in the beginning of a new season in his life.

We Remember
Funeral services have been held for Nan Willis (in her 101st year) and David Luke (ex St Mathias) 91 yrs, both from Sprott House.  Please keep Nan’s and David’s families in your prayers.

Pastoral Conversations

Vestry Secretary Position
The amazing Thea Wallace is stepping down as Vestry Secretary after several years.  We are looking for someone to step in to fill the gap.  If you are a competent minute-taker who is available on the fourth Monday of every month, contact  Zoë.  If you would like to know more about what is required, chat to Thea (10.30 service).

Euthanasia Seminar
“Check Out:  Exploring the End of Life Choice Bill.”  The seminar will be facilitated by Lynne Bowyer, PhD; and Deborah Stephens, PhD. The workshop will cover a grounded understanding of euthanasia, what end of life care options exist now, what the bill proposes and the issues with this.  16 May, 7 pm,
St Lukes, Wadestown.  Entry by Koha.

Rev Joe McGarry will be leading a preaching seminar at KAC, June

Love Their Heads
Children lose proportionally more heat through their heads therefore hats are more important to children.  So KAC will be making beanies for the kids at Karori West School to keep them warm this winter. 
Everyone can help so watch this space for more information soon.

40 hour famine.png

40 Hour Famine
Take a stand and partner with World Vision to bring life changing help to children of the South Sudan.  Last year Karori Anglican raised over $1,500 doing the famine, this year we are going to top that!
You don't have to give up food, famines of all types are possible (including giving up talking, technology, living out of a backpack, food rations...) and its heaps of fun when you do it with friends.
