Synod Thank you!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with Synod. It was a great weekend, made easier with all our extremely helpful volunteers.

Te Korōria Wish List

There are a few items that Te Korōria is in need of and we are wondering if you are able to help? Do you have any good quality rugs that could be used as blankets for customers sitting outside? Ideally woollen.

We are also setting up for the summer now that the grass courtyard is finished (and looks amazing).  We would welcome donations towards purchase outside equipment for families to use – These include a giant Jenga tower ($240), Giant Connect Four ($492), Giant Draughts Game ($452).  These will be great for our customers to use as well as being able to be used by our Church whānau for events.

If you would like to know more, or have something you could donate, please get in touch with Kate (Kate@karorianglican.org.nz).

SU Summer Camps!

Looking for a summer camp for your kids to do this summer? Click HERE, or visit the Scripture Union website for details on the camps.

Thank you!

A big thank you to all who donated for the refugee family who arrived in early September.  The family, originally from Afghanistan, had been in another country for 8 years. The Red Cross volunteer advised that they were very happy with the house set up.

If you are interested in helping with house-set ups, there is a short training session and confidentiality forms to complete prior to being a volunteer. Please contact Mike or Judy Scrivener on Ph 970 3069 or email mikejudiscr@gmail.com
