The Tower
The certificate of compliance has now been given for the work on the tower.  So we are now officially ‘finished.’  Although this improves the earthquake resilience of the tower the church remains earthquake prone.  Thank you for your support and your financial contributions that have made it possible.

The Whakaahuru Singers seeking more singers
The Whakaahuru Singers sing, by request, at the bedside of people who are receiving palliative care or otherwise approaching the end of life.  Our singing offers comfort and relaxation to patients, a connection with community and a feeling of support which extends to family and caregivers.
We are currently seeking more singers to join our group.  If you feel you would like to be part of this committed group of singers please check out our website www.whakaahuru.org.nz  or contact us at info@whakaahuru.org.nz.
