Our Lenten study series will be focussing on one of the Diocesan key priorities - 'Generous Hospitality'. We will be studying this together in small groups every Wednesday for seven weeks, starting after the Ash Wednesday service on 10 Feb, 7.30pm at St Mary's. Sign up at Church.

Accommodation for Childcare

We need items to support a Syrian Refugee Family. There are items listed on the clip board. If you want to give any of these items (in new or excellent unmarked condition only) please add your name to the clipboard. Alternatively, cash offerings should be marked as ‘Refugee Goods’. Ring Mike Scrivener 970 3069 to arrange collection or leave goods at St Mary’s by no later than noon on Sunday 21 February.

We Remember

It is with sadness that we bring news that Peter Sisson passed away this week.  Peter’s funeral will be on Tuesday 8 December, 11.30 am.  Please remember Gina and their family in your prayers.

No Evensong Tonight

There is no Evensong this Sunday, but do take some Christmas invitation cards to give to friends and family to invite them to the Nine Lessons and Carols and the Nativity service next week.

City Mission Christmas Tree

Each Sunday in December we will be collecting for the City Mission Christmas tree.  Please bring a treat or a can with you each time you come to church for the box.

Stamps

Please keep your stamps (not KiwiStamp type) and put in the Stamp box at the back of the church.  Money from their sale goes to Anglican Missions.

I am Priest Assistant at Good Shepherd, Auckland. My wife Janice and I have tickets for the Military Tattoo in next Feb, but all Wellington accommodation is booked for that week. Is there any one in your Parish who would like to accept a couple as paying guests for the nights of Feb 17--21?  We are retired but not quite geriatric! Any help would be much appreciated.
