City Mission Christmas Box
Each Sunday in December we will be collecting for the City Mission Christmas tree.  Please bring a treat or a can with you each time you come to church for the box.

New Wine Catering/Accommodation
This year we will be self catering.  We will provide the bbq’s and a chiller to store your food.  Also we have booked a holiday home and if you are not into tenting and looking for accommodation contact Wendy at the office.  This is our church camp with a programme for all ages 0-99!  Register now:  newwine.org.nz/summer-festivals

Angeltree

Thank you for the beautiful gifts you gave to Angletree.  This year we were able to give gifts to 3900 children nationally, an increase from last year.  Your generosity shows God's love in action to the child, prisoner and their family.  Without you we couldn't have done this, thank you.

Combined Churches Christmas

The Combined Christian Churches Group will be singing carols in the Karori Mall for the Karori Food Bank.  19 December. 10.45 am, and 24 December, 10.45 am.  Come and join the group.  Also there is a Community Nativity Play on Christmas Eve at Karori Park (in front of the Cricket Club), 6 pm.  Come either as a participant (angel, shepherd or Roman soldier), or as part of the crowd, as the Christmas story is shared.

It is with sadness that we bring news that Peter Sisson passed away this week.  Peter’s funeral will be on Tuesday 8 December, 11.30 am.  Please remember Gina and their family in your prayers.

No Evensong Tonight

There is no Evensong this Sunday, but do take some Christmas invitation cards to give to friends and family to invite them to the Nine Lessons and Carols and the Nativity service next week.

Can you help?
I am Priest Assistant at Good Shepherd, Auckland. My wife Janice and I have tickets for the Military Tattoo in next Feb, but all Wellington accommodation is booked for that week. Is there any one in your Parish who would like to accept a couple as paying guests for the nights of Feb 17--21?  We are retired but not quite geriatric! Any help would be much appreciated.
