Cursillo Weekends
Cursillo is a movement of the Church, with its own method that helps Christians learn and live what is fundamental to being a Christian. And having done that, to help these same Christians discover and live out a personal vocation.

The three day weekends are an opportunity to live for a short time in Christian community, distancing yourself from the pressures of the outside world.

Men’s Weekend 9-12 June - applications close 21 May.

YOUTH ALPHA
Friday 20 May, 7 pm, Church Hall for high school aged youth
In our second Alpha session we will be looking at the death and resurrection of Jesus.  Why did Jesus die?  Did Jesus have to die?  What impact does the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus have on me?  Join us as we watch a 20 minute movie about this and then begin to discuss what all of this means to us.  As always, there will also be awesome hangout times, games and food.

Wrong Place, Wrong Time, Wrong People
High school aged youth
Sun 8 May, 10:30 am, KAC Youth Lounge
We are launching a new study time this Sunday during the 10:30 am service. We will gather together with the rest of the church for worship but will leave with the Sunday School crew and head over to the offices for a weekly study and then re-join the church for communion.

This week we will be looking at John 4: 1-26 and reading the account of the Samaritan woman.  It is a passage we have all heard a hundred times before but this time we will look at how Jesus intentionally went to the wrong place at the wrong time and spoke to the wrong people and what this tells us about the heart of God.
