Coronavirus—Covid 19 (Updated since Sunday)
In response to Coronavirus being officially declared a pandemic, we have decided to:
Cease using the common cup at communion in ALL of our services until further notice. You will be able to receive communion in one kind only, i.e. only the bread or wafer or you may ask for a blessing.
Hand sanitiser will also be on the table. Please use this before receiving communion.
We will now strictly enforce no handshaking during the peace. Instead please either bow or nod your head.
Hand sanitiser will also be available on the table in the entrance to the church by the font. Please use this as you come into and exiting the church before morning tea.
If you are on morning tea duty please used the dishwasher to clean all cups used.
If you are unwell please stay at home. However, if you need some meals or you someone to pray with you please ring Ian, Wendy or the church office.

PlayGarden Next Steps!
Thanks to our generous givers, our vision of a welcoming outdoor space for all people in our community is going ahead. We have prepared the soil ready for our planting picnic after the 10 am combined service on 29 March.
On 29 March we will be digging in compost and planting. We need as many people as possible. Bring your spades, forks and protective gloves/hat/mask. Wheelbarrows or buckets needed too. Even if this is not your thing come across after the service and be part of the fun. If you can help put your name on the clipboard.
Anglican Missions Lenten Appeal
This year the appeal will support:
– The Penman Medical Centre in Zababdeh
– The Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre for children with disabilities
– Roofing churches in the Diocese of Mara, Tanzania.
Envelopes are available on the welcome desk.
Easter Youth Camp Support
Each year our youth join 1700 other young people from the lower North Island at the Easter Camp in Fielding. This is an action-filled long weekend of journeying deeply together as a community and participating in fun activities.
We are looking for people who would be willing to sponsor the cost of Easter Camp for kids from disadvantaged backgrounds that would not be able to afford to go otherwise. Cost of camp is $175. Please let Zac know if you can help or put the donation into an envelope marked Easter Camp donation.
SAVE THE DATE
Church Camp, 12-14 March 2021
Next year we are planning a trip away together, to spend time together, listen to God and enjoy the beautiful surrounds just 45mins from Wellington at the Palm Grove Christian Camp, Paraparaumu. So book the dates in your diary now!
Accommodation is in cabins/rooms that sleep 4-6 people, catering is provided, and there are heaps of activities to do on site (90mtr waterslide, archery, orienteering etc), as well as being easy access to Paraparumu. We intend to organise a speaker, have children’s sessions as well as lots of free time.
This is a fantastic opportunity for us to all spend a couple of days together, learning and growing in faith and having fun! We wont be organising a large group to attend New Wine next year, though of course you are very welcome to sort yourselves to attend there as well.
Cost – estimate at this stage, $120 Adult, $90 primary age, $45 pre-schooler
