KARORI ANGLICAN CHURCH AWAY WEEKEND
Our Church Away Weekend (the first one in some years) was held in March at Palm Grove, Paraparaumu. All who attended had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the great venue and speaker. Given the success of this event, it has been decided that we will run it every 2 years (alternatively) with New Wine for January 2022.
SGM RESULTS
The SGM to vote on going ahead with the New Build – ‘Te Kororia’ – took place on Monday, 17 May. We are delighted to report that there were close to fifty parishioners in attendance who voted overwhelmingly in favour of going ahead with the construction. Many thanks to all those who came along.
GIFT OF STOLES – REV DAVID JONES
Mrs Jennifer Jones has kindly gifted seven stoles from her late husband David to St Mary’s.
This is a very timely and appreciated gift as our previous stoles were destroyed in the Vestry fire.
Thank you Jennifer.
